Merry Christmas everyone. Hope everyone got great gift and yummy food. I have been MIA for some time now due to my new position at work. I am now a Director and its has been very busy. Hello Ladies I have real treat for you I recently did a another Lynnderella group order. Lynnderella was super sweet and sent me 2 polishes that are not in any of the current or past collections. I have been dying to share them with you but with my busy schedule at work I haven't been able to. I would like to introduce to you Throwing Violet in the ocean and Ribbon Candy

When I received these I couldn't wait to use them but I wasn't sure what underwear to use this them. I decided Ribbon Candy can be worn alone and Throwing violets into the ocean with a purple polish. Enough talking onto the pictures!

Lynnderella has done it again!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESES!!!! I was pretty upset to hear that she has received hate mail because she doesn't deserve it at all. She put alot of time and effort to make these beautiful polishes for us. She has been doing this on her own and has been taking as many orders as she can handle. I have had nothing but great experiences with every one of my orders and she has always gone above and beyond to provide a great experience. Thank you so much Lynnderella!

Hello ladies it may seem that I have been failing at doing this challenge but I'm happy to report that I have been painting my nails almost everyday using my untireds. I just haven't had time to do a post. I think I need my own personal blog post writer lol..

Ok now on to the untried this is a Lynnderella edition. I like to wear my glitters with some underwear and that way I can use more of my untried polishes.

The next polish I used a couple weeks ago and just didn't have time to post them so here is Cult Nails Captivate the glitter is pretty thick but nothing that cant be worked with this is 3 and 4 coats on some nails.

Next is a beautiful creme polish from Gosh called Lavender Love which is a perfect name for it because I love this color! It went on smooth in one coat!

And the last color is lavender loves sister Gosh neon baby this make me really love Gosh polish they are always so easy to apply. This 2 coats and added some Hello kitty decals I got free from Born Pretty store.

Day 2-3 of 30 day of untried challenge

Todays untrieds are brand spanking new just got them this past week. I finally gave in a bought an Illamasqua polish and I picked Jo'Mina since they didn't have Obsses. I love this polish its so bright and pretty and to top it off the application was great now I see why people like Illamasqua polishes. This is 2 coats of Jo'mina.

After wearing this polish for a day I decided I wanted to add something to it so why not use another new polish that I woke up extra early to order for me and my polish bestie Jen and only 275 people own this limited edition polish nothing else but Cult Nails Unicorn puke. I added a coat over Jo'mina unfortunately I didn't get any pic of it in the sun so apologize for the sucky pictures.

Hello Ladies I'm back!! I know I basically abandoned my blog for a bit but I have been very busy at work and in life. I am back with a new challenge that will get me to blog alot more and make me use my untrieds which are the majority of my polishes. I will try to do 1 or 2 a day lets see how this goes!

Day 1 polish is one I just received today and couldn't resist but to use it right away. It is China Glaze Visit me in prism. It is a light lilac scattered holo that went on smooth in 2 coats. It has very strong holo effect I wish China Glaze would make more of theses beauties.

New 30 Day challenge! Day 1 OPI DS GLAMOUR!!!

Hello Ladies I am back with another 30 Day challenge that was circling around the net and the image was made by my polish buddies on Facebook. This one is a little simpler then the last one since its not all about nail art and you can interpret it any way you like. I will be going on my own pace since the last one was a little crazy and I cant post everyday so I always falling behind. Day 1 is your Favorite polish and my favorite is OPI DS Glamour! This has been my favorite since before I had it lol.. I use to see pictures of it and drool thinking that it would never be mine. But my Polish bestie Jennifer came through for me and found 2 so we bought it for each other :-). It is soo beautiful and applied beautifully in 2 coats!

I absolutely love this color and it will be my favorite color of all time! I think I need a back up bottle because I want to always have it on. What is your favorite polish?

That is pretty much everything I bought last month might have missed a polish or two but they must have not been very memorable to have added them in here lol.. I killed a bunch of huge lemmings like DS glamour, Nubar reclaim, OPI SRO and Opening night gold. I never thought I would own theses beauties but I searched high and low and managed to finally get them. Sorry I wasn't specific on names of polishes but its alot to name so if you have a question about and polish, a shop or prices feel free to ask. This challenge is now starting to get very interesting Ive been able to do alot of different nail art because of this challenge. These past couple of days Ive been mixing a matching different things like water decal, acrylic molds and free hand.

Day 23 mani inspired by a movie. I am a big kids a love watching cartoon movies and the movie I love and have watched a bunch of time is UP. Kevin is my favorite!

Day 24 mani inspired by a book. I like to read Urban erotica so I picked a book I read recently Candy Licker by Noire.

Day 25 mani inspired by Fashion. I could not find a cool outfit that inspired me but I did find a bag. I have a thing for purses and my dream purse is of course a Louis Vuitton.

That's it for today I have 5 day left in this challenge and I'm kinda sad that is coming to an end because it has been so fun and its inspired me to do some really cool manis.

I was really excited about this one because I love music and music videos are always very inspiring. I knew the video had to be from from Jessie J because her videos are so cool and have so much stuff going on. I finally decided on one Jessie J- Price tag.

And this is what I seen in the video that gave me the inspiration to this mani. Of course you have to have the price tag and for the other design was to match her outfit.

Im pretty content with this mani just wish the price tag would have been a little neater. This is now one of my favorite songs.

Today I was searching for the Wet N Wild On the prowl collection when I seen this beautiful scarf and I just love the color and I went home without the scarf because I was broke so next best thing was to go home an paint my nails that same color. It was pretty hard since I forgot to get a picture of it but I managed to find a similar color OPI I eat mainely lobster. It went on smooth in 2 coats I was unable to capture the gold shimmer in it.

I love this color! I always fall in love with pink with a gold shimmer in. What color can you not resist to buy and wear no matter how many you have?

Hello Ladies Ive been playing catch up with my 30 day challenge mani's since I started work again but Ive managed to get myself caught up. I have my manis for the past 3 days.

Half moon- I had a hard time with this one because I wanted to do a glossy bright pink and a matte black. I did 3 coats of Essie Punchy Pink with top coat and used binder paper reinforcements to create the half moon with Orly Matte vinyl. In this process I messed up my middle finger so I'm just not going to show it lol.. (not flipping you the bird)

Galaxies- For this one I kept it simple and just used a bunch of different glitters and hope that they would look like a bunch of planets and stars. 2 coats of Lippmanns Bad Romance, 1 coats of sinful colors hottie and China Glaze Techno.

Water Marbled- I am horrible at water marbling I can never get the polish to spread, do a design and actually re-create it on every nail. So I look to Youtube and seen a video of someone doing a water marbling design over a gradient of colors while using black and a translucent white. I used polishes from China Glaze poolside collection and a black and white polish.

I liked my galaxy mani the best out of all the other were just a mess and it was also that I didn't take my time on them.

Hello Ladies I have fallen a little behind on my daily challenge so I decided to post them together. I am back to work so its going to get a little tougher to post daily but I will try my best.

For my polka dot challenge I keep it pretty simple. Did 2 coats of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri whirlwind white and stamped polka dot with all 4 colors from the Essence Whooom Boomm Collection.

Now for my stripes I did a a coat of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Whirlwind white and stamped stripes with Orly Fancy Fuchsia and Konad black.

That is all for today. Not very exciting I took both of these manis off pretty quick. Have a wonderful week ladies!

Day 10 Gradient

Hello ladies today I am a little late to post my Day 10 mani because I was getting my giveaway together so I posted that first since I've been promising it for a couple weeks now. I was pretty stuck on what colors I was going to use for my gradient. Then after looking at my swatch wheels I noticed I have a lot of blue holo polish. So I tried a out a bunch of colors together in a swatch wheel and finally found 2 that looked good together but I needed a 3rd color. Then I figured id mix up a 3rd color. For this mani I used Glitter gal marine blue, China glaze DV8 and the 3rd color was a mix of DV8 and GR8 and lastly I finished it off with a coat of OPI Whats Dune?

I couldn't get good pictures of the holoness since it was night time by the time I took photos of it. I am pretty content with this one just wish I had a better 3rd color that went along with the other 2. I'm probably gonna keep this mani and add a design over it like fish scales since it reminds me of a mermaids tail. Thank for reading ladies.

Day 9 Rainbow

Hello ladies this challenge is starting to get more exciting I wanted to do something really cool with this one but unfortunately I didn't have much time since Im in training at work and it doesn't leave much time for nails. So I did something I little more simple and quick. I used one of my new polish Jesse's girl Girls night out from JulieG collection and painted my nails except my ring finger. On my ring finger I applied some top coat and began to fill my nails with rhinestones in the colors of the rainbow.

I am not fully content with this mani but its the best I could do with the time I had. I wish I would've used the smaller rhinestone. What do you ladies do when your not completely happy with your mani and its late at night? Do you take it off and go the next day with naked nail or keep till you can do something better?

Day 8 metallic Essence Steel me

Quick post today I've been at work all day and had to do my metallic mani pretty late so I didn't get to post it this morning. For this mani I used Essence Steel me which a magnetic polish. Polish was very well pigmented and went on in one coat and while its still wet I quickly took my magnetic and went side to side on the nail to make the pattern you will be seeing. It takes some practice to get it right because you have to get close enough but not too to touch your polish.

I love these and if you could get your hands on them please do. You cant get theses in the US and this one is from the old Essence magnetic collection (Metallic) but they have a new magnetic collection with cooler colors.Thanks for reading ladies!

Day 7 Black and White

Day 7 is black and white nails and Ive been looking forward to this one because I knew exactly what I was gonna do! Ive been wanting to do a piano mani ever since I saw one of the new bundle monster plates in which one is a stamp of piano keys. So I painted my nails black and white alternating nails with Wet N Wild black creme and Sally Hansen Insta-dri Whirlwind white which are both one coaters. Then stamped plates Konad m73 and BM-207 with Konad stamping polish Black and White.

I absolutely love this mani that I even kept it for a couple days and got so many compliments on my nails. This is a mani that I will probably do again because it was so simple and clean. Have you ladies ever done a mani that you loved and would probably do it again and again?

Day 6 violet China Glaze LOL

Hello Ladies we are now on Day 6 Violet I had a tough time with picking a color for this one because I wasn't sure what color qualifies as Violet but I was like what the heck ill just pick any purple Ive been wanting to use. About a month ago a went dusty hunting and found 3 brand new bottles of China Glaze LOL!!! I gave 2 away and kept one and haven't use it can you believe that!! LOL went on smooth in 2 coat with no basecoat because Ive read that its pretty hard to apply with the wrong basecoat so I just skipped it.

I love this color but then I got an idea what would a holo polish look like with a flakie on top? I had to give it a try so I went ahead and added Nfu Oh #51 and look AWESOME the pictures does not do it justice!

Hope you guys like this combination I just wish I could capture how beautiful it actually is.

Day 5 Blue Orly Stone Cold

This is the day Ive been looking forward to because blue is my favorite color and Ive been dying to use Orly Stone cold from the new Mineral Fx collection. This polish is a must have its a super shimmery blue that was opaque in 2 coat and dried smooth!

Ok so I wanted to add a little something to it and what better then some flakies! I added a coat of Nfu Oh #53 now the pictures I took does not do it justice. It kinda reminded me of a polish Ive been drooling over for a while KOH blue universe.

I added a coat of Essie Matte about you just for fun.

I love this mani and its probably going to be my favorite of this entire challenge. What is you favorite color?

Day 4 green OPI Zom-body to love

Day 3 I decided to go with a Halloween polish because I love Halloween!! So there nothing better then Glow in the dark nails! OPI Zom-body to love is part of a duo set along with Black shatter that OPI came out with this year for Halloween. Zom-body to love is pretty sheer and took about 4 coats to get to this It wasn't bad since it dries quick.

This is definitely going to be the polish I use for Halloween unless I find a glow in the dark polish that glows blue. Does anyone know of any glow in the dark polishes that glow a different color then green?

Day 3 Yellow Chanel Mimosa

Ok we are on Day 3 which is Yellow nails. I love yellow nail polish but its always such a pain to apply and get even and this one was no different. This is my one and only Chanel anything that my wonderful Hubby went out and bought for me just because. The polish was kinda streaky but I managed to get it to even out in 2coat in some fingers and 3 in other.

How do you guys feel about yellow polish? For me its a love hate thing love how they look but hate to apply it.

Day 2 (orange) China Glaze Sunworshiper

Day 2 is orange and I knew exactly what polish I was gonna use because it the only orange polish that wows me it is China Glaze Sunworshiper its from last years Summer collection Poolside. Its a neon orange so as a neon you all know it take a bunch of coats to cover unless you do a coat of white first. I didn't do a coat of white I just did a bunch of coats because I didn't mind mostly since the polish dries super fast. In the picture there's between 5-7 coats and no top coat. Hope you got your sunglasses on!

I love this color because of its brightness but I know a lot of people wouldn't wear this color out. My hubby describes this color as a ghetto girl color lol..How do you ladies feel about neons?

30 day challenge.. Day 1 (red)

Ok so while reading through the blogs I found this 31 day challenge and loved the idea! I then posted it on Facebook in a group (Face and Friends) I'm in and everyone loved it too so we all decided to start on the 1st. We realized that September only has 30 days so its the 30 day challenge for us.

So today is day 1 and the color is red. I am not a big fan of red but It gave me a chance to try out two new reds that Ive been meaning to use. I wanted to do a glitter sandwich so I started with a coat of Barielle Elle's spell then added a coat of Lynnderella's Ruby red ruby and finished it off with 2 coat of Elle's spell.

I love this combination even thought I don't like reds this is a keeper atleast till tomorrow lol... What are your favorite reds?

Ordered some really cool Glitter blends from Envy Nail Supply. The glitters can be used in pretty much anything like Nail polish to acrylics they had great service and fast shipping.

And finally I got some Nail art brushes from eBay aren't they cute Jen from The Exotic Lacquer picked them out for herself for me to order for her and I couldn't help but to get a set too.

That is all I bought for myself in the past 3 days I can say I have successfully done a no buy! Yay and thank god its over.

1st Blog Anniversary

I just realized yesterday was my blogs birthday!!! Last year around this time I was going to do my cousin's nails and I started watching youtube videos and searching for nail art online that's when I ran into Sayanythingbr00ke's youtube channel as well as bunch on wonderful blog. After seeing all the wonderful blogs I decided to make my own to be able share my love for nail art and nail polish. In this year my nail polish collection has grown drastically went from 30 to 615. Tokidoki Nails

As you probably could tell from my blogs background Im pretty obsessed with tokidoki so I was thinking to myself this whole time I have yet done some tokidoki nails and I remember why because it wouldn't measure up to the BEST TOKIDOKI NAIL EVER!!! they were done by Holiday over at Silence is Loud you have to check out her blog!! she does the best nail art ever! I still gave my tokidoki nail a try.

I ended up doing something simple over a manicure I already had I started with a beautiful blue Essence Just Rock it and then topped it with Golden Rose Scale effects 15. I did the Tokidoki logo on my ring finger with a white nail art polish.

I really love tokidoki I even got a new tokidoki tattoo its only the outline right now but I cant wait till its finished!

Hibiscus Nail art

I recently bought a sarong dress at the beach and it had such a pretty print with a bunch of beautiful hibiscus that I just had to do my nails to match. So I remember I had tried flowers like that after seeing a post on Ash-Lilly's blog and it was one stroke art using acrylic paint. I Youtube it to get a refresher on what exactly I was doing. I watched this video (yes its in French)

I got started I used Wet N Wild white cream as the base for my ring finger and thumb for the rest of my nails I used Zoya Robin. Its not perfect but I love how it came out!

I like it so much that I had to do the matching pedicure! I said I would never post pics of my toes here but they came out better then my finger nails. I took these picture while I was out on a canoe with my kids at work so there is already some chips. IWARNING TOES PICTURES!

Have you ladies done nail art designs using acrylic paint? if not you need to go to your closest art store and pick up some paints because it is so much it come out so beautiful and it super easy to make any design!

So my hauls are usually pretty big and my hubby as taken notice and bet me that I couldn't go a month without buying a bottle of nail polish so I took on the challenge. Ive been doing pretty good and Ive been relying on swaps to get new polishes.

I recently received a swap from Jen from The Exotic lacquer which took a day to get since we live in the same state she was very nervous about it but I of course loved everything she picked out a bunch on blue since it is my fav. color. There was also some yummy candy that I already ate before I was able to take the picture.

This weekend was Tax free weekend in Massachusetts so I of course took advantage of that to finally buy a new camera. I hadn't bought a new camera in years! I was working with a Casio Exilim 7.2 megapixel camera and I upgraded to a Sony Cybershot 16.1 megapixel camera.

While shopping I found another Sally's in my area and couldn't help but to go in and I was so sad that I couldn't buy any polish but then I was looking to see what was on sale and found an Acrylic set on sale which was perfect because Ive been trying to teach myself how to do acrylics and this is just what I needed. So I bought the set which came with 12 colors and acrylic liquid I also picked up a rose pink acrylic.

And finally some random things I picked up while enjoying the tax free weekend I finally found Hello Kitty duct tape and I saw this big diamond paper weight and I bought it to take pictures of my nails with.

That's really all Ive gotten so majority of my hauls for the rest of the month is going to swaps and nail accessories since I cant buy polish. Have you ladies ever done a no buy?

Essence Whoom Boooom collection

I love Essence collections and one of the collections I fell in love with was their Whoom Boooom collection all the colors are very bright and perfect for summer. I got this collection from a recent swap since alot of the collections you cant get in the US since Ulta doesn't carry the limited edition collections. On to the swatches!

There is 4 colors in the collection all with some interesting name lol...

Chacalaca- its a dark but vibrant blurple it was smooth in 2 coat. (my fav)

Roy's Red- a red/pink and in some lights look even coral its a very unique color. It was smooth in 2 coats

Andy you're a star- A bright/pastel orange in the sun it look really bright and indoor look more creamy. Smooth in 2 coats.

You've got the Art- A pastel greenish yellow depending on light. This was my least favorite the application wasn't the best needed 3 coats just to even out the horrible first 2.

I really like this collection all the color worked well together, They were easy to apply and unique. I give this collection a thumb up lol..My love for Essence continues to grow. Have you ladies tried Essence polishes?

I'm back sorry for the abandonment of my blog but my summers are super busy from my 50 hours a week at work and then trying to fit a life into that kind of schedule so it doesn't leave much time for blogging. I starting to manage my time a little better and I will hopefully have 3 post a week well at least that is my goals. So for today I'm going to show you all the swaps and haul Ive done since I blogged last.

Swaps:

A whole lot of Essence polishes/supplies and some Catrice polishes Thanks to Tammy from Gettin' Girlie! This has been my biggest swap ever!

This lovely package came from the wonderful Rebecca from Rebecca likes nails we had done a swap a while back and she loved the package so much that she felt she had to get me back lol..

This swap (minus the nail envy) was done with a lovely lady on MUA, I finally got my hands on some Golden Rose scale effects and some more Essence twins.

This swap was with Kesha from Nail Polish Obsession and we had arranged this swap a while ago and when it arrived I had already received Tammy's Swap which included a majority of theses polishes. I wanted the Essence twin so bad that now I have 2 or 3 of them.

I did one more swap with the lovely Sara from Sara ♥'s Pretty Little Things which was awesome I now have a bunch f UK polishes!

Got some LA Colors after seeing a post from Rebecca about some being Jelly.

Then stopped in at Sally's and they had the new Orly (Happy go lucky) and China Glaze (Molten Metals)collections and I got 2 of each and received a free top coat. I stumbled upon some remover cloths that are pre soaked in remover and are made of felt!! Ive already gotten back to get more!

Barrielle was having another sale so I snatch up 2 more from their new collection Do onto others and Buda-ful. I also purchased some Spectraflair on ebay which I still haven't used lol..

I finally cracked and got the 3D acrylic mold kit that Ive wanted to get as well as a Nail drill and some water decal from Born Pretty Store.

Stop in at Sephora and could help myself and picked up Sephora by OPI Spark-tacular, retractable nail file and Tokidoki rollerball fragrance.

I saved the best and most excited one for last!!! as some of you know the wonderful Lynnderella has finally decided to sell her beautiful creations. So when I seen them I knew I must have some no matter the price I sent in my order and got a reply that they were out of stock. I was very sad! then some weeks later I got an email from her saying that they came back in stock and if I still wanted them I of course said YES!!! and sent her the money right way! There had been a problem with my order but the Wonderful Lynnderella made it all better and sent me the complete set. Thank you sooooo much Lynnderella I greatly appreciate it and all your hard work to make these beauties!

Essence Nail art twins

I finally got my hands on the beautiful Essence Nail Art twins Thanks to Tammy from Gettin' Girlie so I couldn't wait to swatch them! The Essence Nail Art twin have the best names they are names of couples one is a creme polish and the other is a glitter topper to match. I love everything about these the glitter toppers you dont have to dig for the glitter and the creme polish go on smooth.

I am back! Sorry for being such a bad blogger but life got in the way. I recently moved so it was pretty crazy around here and moving 2 Helmers full of polish was not fun. In this crazy move I broke pretty much all my nails so Im back to rocking nubbins. I have recently completed most of my international swaps just have 2 left and I now have a bunch of new Euro polishes. Kaleidoscope him out

Hello Ladies I have a real treat to show you today. I was lucky enough to have been able to swap with Tara from Tough as Nails, and Twice as pretty we are both in a facebook group Polish-aholics Anonymous and she posted some China Glaze Kaleidoscope polishes. I could not resit and swap for Kaleidoscope him out. The day I got I could not take of my other mani off fast enough to apply this one. It went on smooth in 2 coats I used Orly Bonder as my base coat because I heard it better for Holo polishes and I actually didn't have a top coat with me so I didn't apply one. Even without a top coat this polish stayed on for about 3 days with very minor chipping. I actually took its off because I had an important meeting and didn't think a holo polish was appropriate. When I had it on I could not stop looking at my nails!! I'm starting to like scattered holos a little better. I took a lot of pictures in different lighting's

This past week I got a whole bunch of nail mail! After many complaints and argument with the Post office they finally got things right and my packages came. I think everything I got this week I ordered online because I haven't had time to go to Ulta or any other store. First up is all the Klean Colors I had on my wishlist. One of the lovely ladies in a Nail polish group I'm in on facebook posted a link to a website that sell Klean colors for $1.75 so I ran to the computer and got to ordering. So as you can see my purse is really big and packed with a lot. I usually carry my Net Book too so today just happen to be a light day. I change wallets and purses very often and they usually match each other as well as my clothes today I didn't have time to change wallets to a blue one. Here is a closer look at everything in my purse.

Here is my cosmetic bag that I got in a swap with IrishEnchantment from If it shines its mine

my stuff is seperated in 2 sides one for nails and the other is or general stuff.

Nail Side: Lush Lemony flutter, cuticle pusher, files, acetone wipes, top coats, base coats and China Glaze kaleidoscope him out.

General side: Face cleanser, Nivea lotion, body spray, Tokidoki mini hair brush and mirror, heel softener and a bunch or chap stick and lip gloss (a Barry M one from Ash-lly)

Shatters + Bottles by Shadow

I wanted to play with my new shatters so I did a quick mani I applied Revlon Royal then took out my Turquoise shatter and then thought to do some accent nails but i was pretty tired so I ended just using silver shatter for accent nails. It didn't feel complete so I added some glitter! I did one coat of Cover girl boundless color city lights and a coat of seche vite to smooth it out.

So I recently arranged a swap with Rebecca from rebecca likes nails and one of the the polishes in the swap was her beautiful fraken that she later named Rebecca likes cupcake. I had made an order from Transdesign.com and with that order I had got some empty bottles for Rebecca and to try to do a franken. As I was packing her stuff I had an AHA moment I thought to myself I sometime buy polishes because I like the shape of the decoration of the bottle so why not decorate the bottle.. I already had an idea of what I was going to draw because Rebecca love hello kitty like I do and her fraken is called Rebecca likes cupcakes so why not make a Hello Kitty Cupcake. I decided I would draw the outline with a sharpie and then design the entire thing with nail polish. Here is the begin of the the process

Final Product

After the polishes dried I added a coat of Seche Vite to give it some protection.I love how it turned out I almost kept it for myself but It was Rebecca's fraken that inspired this creation so she deserves it. I will be making more of these.

Glitter sandwich

I been wanting to do a glitter sandwich for some weeks now and I finally got around to it. I wanted a real summery glitter sandwich So when I think of summer I think of yellow. It was perfect because had just bought L'oreal Yellow seahorse which is a jelly polish it was perfect for what i had in mind. Yellow seahorse is bright yellow with gold shimmer, The polish is a bit thick and streaky but manageable. I did 3 coats of the polish first toI show you the color.

Then I removed it and did a coat of Color Club I always get my Man-darin (sorry I forgot to take picture of it) then did one coat of Milani Gems (pink version) and topped it with a coat of Yellow seahorse.

What color do you wear during the summer? I use my neons, yellows, pinks and of course holos!

Today I'm going to be showing you one of my top lemmings that I finally killed. A week ago I went dusty hunting which going to salons and looking for older discontinued polishes. The China Glaze OMG's and kaleidoscopes are pretty easy to spot since they have silver caps. I spotted 2nite and asked one of the nail tech about buying it.She first looked at me like I was crazy and then tried to find me a new bottle but no luck I insisted on buying that bottle so she added some thinner to the polish and let have it for $1.50. I left that salon skipping. I couldn't wait to wear it unfortunately there was no sun for a couple days. I didn't use a base coat and applied 2 coats of 2nite and 1 coat of China glaze FF top coat. OK on to the Holo goodness!

So this is what I have acquired in the last couple of weeks Its not alot which is good because as you all know I am out of control. The polish I got this week were all very cheap because I went Dusty hunting I managed to find brand new polish as well as used polishes in Nail salons in Boston. I have a new favorite polish!! Sally Hansen Xtreme wear Pacific Blue is such a unique color It looks nothing like any of my polishes. The color is blue but it leaning toward purple too. I got so many compliments on this polish that I even wore it all week which is very rare for me I did remix it a little with some stamping.
The polish was a little running but its very pigmented only needed one coat and was super shiny!

Nic Sticks Rainbows End

A couple of week ago I ran into some Nic sticks in a 5 pack for $6.99 this was the first time I had ever bought theses kind on polishes in a pen. I opened the pack and started to swatch the colors I got to Rainbows End and I thought it was just a tan polish to my surprise it was a tan holo!!! Look at this gorgeous holo!

I could not believe I got such a beautiful color for so cheap! I really love these polishes because I am always polishing my nails on the go and this make it sooo much easier. Do you ladies polish your nails on the go? I polish my nails everywhere train, bus, work basically where ever I can. I have gotten complaints because some people are offended by the smell but these are perfect they don't have a harsh smell.

I currently have 518 polishes and with so many polishes its hard to pick what color to wear so a lot of the time I asked my hubby to pick a color. This time he said he wanted to see a Celtics green (he's still upset that they lost) So I looked in my stash and I the closest thing I had was China Glaze four leaf clover. The color went on perfect in 2 coats but I wasn't a fan of it so I took it off in 3 hours :-).

So I usually don't show failed manis but I just love the color of the polish I used and I didn't capture any pictures of it by itself. I attempted to do blue stripes because I was wearing a shirt with blue stripes so I went with the tape method. I had a hard time cutting the tape into strips as well as placing them straight. I used Wet N Wild white creme and Revlon Royal.

Any tips on how I can do this mani better?

Hey Ladies Sorry for going MIA but Its coming to the end of my afterschool program and I'm trying to finish projects to end the year off strong. I still have time to do my nails but not to post them up. I have been swatching a lot f nail polish lately now that my nails have finally gotten stronger and are breaking less so there will be many more nails coming. The polish I have up first is my favorite mood polish that I wore for 3 days! It went on smooth in 2 coats and dried extremely fast!

Hey ladies sorry Ive been MIA lately but life and work has gotten very busy. I actually went on a mini vacation just to get away from work and family so me and the hubby went away to NH. While we were there we wanted to let off some stress so we made out way to a Firing range. This was the 1st time I fired a gun even though most think its not because of the gun tattoo on my hand. It was lots of fun and I did pretty good.

So now on to the nails I recently got some of the Sally Hansen Crackle and the one I wanted to use right away was Distressed Denim because my favorite color is Blue. A couple of weeks ago I seen a post on The Nailphile she was trying the crackle out and she paired Distressed Denim with OPI last Friday night. I thought that combinations was just so BEAUTIFUL!!! I had to try it!

I have a new favorite green polish!! I am not a fan of green nail polish but I seem to be growing on me because I keep buying green nail polishes. This one just became my new favorite green polish! Before is was OPI jade is the new black now its OPI Gargantuan green grape i love that its light but bright at the same time.

So lately Ive been trying to use different color polish then I do usually. I always go for the neon's, pinks, blues and holos. So I decided to use one of the mood struck polishes I got in a pack of three. It hard to explain the color because it is very different. The mood struck polishes depending on heat. I did an accent nail I used nail tattoos, billion beads and rhinestones.

I really liked this mani but it didn't last because of the quality of the polish wasn't the best. Do you buy polishes for the color or quality? I personally don't care for the quality since I do my nails almost everyday so Its about the color for me.

Can you guess what polish I might be showing you today from the tittle? Well I finally got his polish after drooling over for a while. Its been sold out every where I go and Ulta actually just got the collection so I grabbed it up quick. I wish I would have got too because I am in love with this polish! Ok so I am talking about Orly Fancy Fuchsia from Orly's Precious Collection. Fancy Fuchsia is a very bright fuchsia that is nice and even in 2 coat.

I love this color! This just became my go to polish. I see myself using this polish alot so I need to go hunt down a backup bottle! When you really like a color do you buy a backup bottle? or is it a waste?

So last week I seen a post from Mrsrexy at Canadian Nail Fanatic her post blew my mind! She was stamping with foils so I ran to my nail art drawer got everything I needed and got on it. I started with Sinful Colors Savage which is a pretty green matte color.

I then decided to use my new Bundle Monster image plates and a gold holo foil. Stamping with foils is pretty simple the first thing you need to do is cut out some pieces of foils, Stamp the image you want on your nails and quickly place the foil on the stamp and rub it in. Easy right? My manicure came out ok but I wish I would have used a gold polish to stamp with instead of white you'll see why.

The next couple of polishes were from random places except for Gargantuan green grape that I got at Ulta. I went to a mall that I usually don't go to because my hubby said he seen the Goldie polishes at the Marshall there, So the next day we took a trip there and unfortunately I didn't find them.

But I found a Nail salon that was selling polishes too and I found many HTF polishes for regular price!! That salon is my new go to place mostly because they order new polishes every 2 weeks and its pretty deserted so alot of the display look untouched. They are gonna order me some more China Glaze OMG's because they didn't let me buy their 2nite of them.

Organizing Stash (pic heavy)

Ive been having alot of trouble keeping my stash organized because I get so many polish that I easily run out of space. A couple of weeks ago I asked how many polishes fit in a helmer because I had out grown my bookshelf. I have between 450-500 polishes and a fellow blogger that has a helmer said that it holds between 500-600 polishes. So I sent my hubby to buy me 2 Ikea Helmers (one for backup). He was such a trooper he took that long ride in the rain to get them for me. He started to build it but he's could not complete it so I took over and finished the Helmer.

It was pretty easy to build got it down in about 30 minutes. I then added some rubber shelf liners to keep the bottles from sliding and started filling it up. I separated the polish by brands.

I have finally got one of my top lemmings that Ive had my eye on forever. I finally decided to cough up the money to buy China Glaze DV8 from their OMG collection. I actually got this polish from a Blogsale I just ran into randomly which I don't even have the link to unfortunately but the blogger Carly was selling her stash to get some extra money so I contacted her and it was still available. I paid $15 for it I know that a little bit high but I rather help out a fellow blogger by taking some polishes off her hands then buy from some greedy people on ebay.

DV8 is a beautiful Teal linear holo, it was very smooth and opaque this is 2 coats and 1 coat o top coat. Now On to the pictures!

OPI Mermaid Tears

I recently got some of the new OPI Pirates of the Caribbean polishes and the one Ive had my eyes on has been Mermaid tears so once I got it I couldn't wait to use it. It went on smooth in 2 coat I love this color it looks like nothing in my collection.

I then decide to add some Silver shatter on a couple nails.

I absolutely love these 2 together. I am very happy I got this polish I might have to get a back up because I will definitely be using this this color a lot and I see this polish selling out. What color do you like from this collection?

I have failed! Ive been on a no buy for about 2 weels but I couldn't anymore and one reason why was because of ORLY Summer 2011 Collection: Pinup at Sally's which is still having there buy 2 get 1 free deal. So I just couldn't help myself and I can't just get one when there's a sale! I also had my co-workers Pro card so I got it for even cheaper! The beauty that called out to me was Orly Va Va Voom its a pretty pink neon creme. It applied perfect in 2 coats but dried semi matte the finish kinda looked like Orly Plastix collection. I added a top coat to get that glossy finish, sorry for the messy clean up it was an early morning out the door mani.

I love this color but yet is there any pink I don't like lol...

Sorry I've gone MIA I was a pretty busy last week because the kids were on vacation from school so It was a pretty long week dealing with my Rugrats at work. I still managed to do my nails almost everyday but didn't have the time to post them up.So first I'm gonna show you the most recent mani which I wore for Easter.

I let my hubby pick the color and he picked out a nameless mini Hello Kitty jelly polish that I got from Target in a set. I wanted to do an accent nails and I still had my Sally Hansen salon effects strip laying around so I used one strip from the Fly with me set. I was actually able to get away with only using one strip for both nails so I still have enough strips to do a full mani.

I wanted the color to really pop so I did one coat of white on my nails first then 3 coats of the HK polish.

I love the Hello Kitty polish! I need another one of it for a back up because it will definitely not last with it being so mini! Who knew that it was this beautiful. Do you give cheapo polishes an fair chance or just brush them off?

Ive had foils for some months now but everytime I tried to do a full mani it never looked good. I tried many times and finally last week that I got a better foil glue I am actually semi proud of my attempt enough to show pictures of it. I applied a thin layer of The Best Glue Ever on my nails let it dry and used a holographic star foil. It came out a little sloppy and of course the top coat messed it up a little too but its still ok. I love the blingyness of it.

Have you tried foils? Any tips on how to apply them better? What top coat do you use over your foils?

I am not a big fan of reds but theses 2 pretties are just too beautiful not to wear and I decided to wear them together because nothing is complete without a little bit of glitter. Zoya Sooki was super smooth in 2 coats and Milani Red sparkle was super gritty and needed 2 coats on top coat.

Office friendly polish

When it come to picking nail polish I usually go for the brightest or most glittery polish as working for the Boys and Girls club my nail polish colors aren't going to offend anyone if anything it keep my kids attention as I point to their homework lol.. But I sometimes have important meetings that I need to have office friendly polish and I struggle to pick them because I don't have many. I had an important meeting a couple of days ago and I chose Sinful colors Social Ladder. Its a shimmery light kinda nude pink. I liked the color a lot but Its not me so after the meeting I took it right off.

Foil crackle look

A while back I got a bunch of foils and I play with them here and there but I was never able to get the foil to completely transfer on to the nail were it looked good. I kinda gave up until I saw a post and video tutorial by the master of nail art Robin Moses if you don't know about her you need to go to her blog and YouTube channel now! She sometimes uses foils in her design and has testing many different glues and finally found a good foil glue. When I seen that I immediately started searching for The best glue ever (that's actually the name of it lol) I unfortunately didn't find it and I had to order it on overstock.com but it was ok because they have free shipping.

I finally got my bottle today and I wanted to try doing a design Robin did on her blog that didn't seem too difficult its a crackle polish technique which is basically using different color foils to look like crackle polish over a black polish.

For my version of design I used Wet N Wild black, Multi colored foil, China Glaze fairy dust, neon yellow and orange paint. I love this design it is now my favorite mani!

OPI Too hot pink to holdem

Last week a lot of my nails had broken so I cut them all down and I really hate short short nails. I wanted to use one of my new polishes and I picked OPI too hot pink to holdem. I used some glue on nails and did 3 coats of polish then took a gold striper and did a little design on all the nails. Then on ring finger I added a gold star and some little beads.

I love the color but I wasn't 100% content with the design just because they didnt really go together but I spent a good amount of time on it so I atleast kept it for the day. What do you do if you dont like a manicure do you keep it, try to fix it or start over?

Found the last polishes in Target and T.J Maxx none of them have names I just liked the colors and I couldn't resist the cuteness of the Hello kitty polishes. I swatched them all on a nail wheel and they were all jellys and very pretty colors. As for the Mood Struck set I only liked 2 of the colors and I usually swap out the colors I didn't like for another one in another set but the polishes were at the counter so I couldn't with and getting yelled at.

That was all which isn't bad compared to my last haul post. I will try to take it easy and I kinda wanna give myself a limit but I'm not sure if it should be how many polish or how much I spend a week? What do you ladies think what is a reasonable amount of polish a week? or money spent on polish a week?

Today I woke up and again it was raining and it has been raining for the past 2 days and I'm tired of it Boston weather is crazy! We had snow like 3 days ago and its Spring. I need a vacation to a warm state or country. So I decided to cheer myself up by doing a tropical mani. I've wanted to do a gradient for a while but never had the time and I don't like how they usually come out because I can never bled the color very well. This time I did a little practice on a nail and liked how it came out.

Started off by painting my nails white so that The colors would really pop then started with the yellow and started working my way up. I got a tip by another blogger that you should work from the tip then start blending the colors as you go up and lighter dabs is better because you can always go back and make it darker and here's what I got.

I felt like it needed something else and I was going to add so crackle to but I remembered I had a image plate that had a palm tree with the word California across it and that just happens to be where I want to go for vacation. So I busted out my konad supplies and got to stamping.
