Stamping with foil: Zip me up

So last week I seen a post from Mrsrexy at Canadian Nail Fanatic her post blew my mind! She was stamping with foils so I ran to my nail art drawer got everything I needed and got on it. I started with Sinful Colors Savage which is a pretty green matte color.

I then decided to use my new Bundle Monster image plates and a gold holo foil. Stamping with foils is pretty simple the first thing you need to do is cut out some pieces of foils, Stamp the image you want on your nails and quickly place the foil on the stamp and rub it in. Easy right? My manicure came out ok but I wish I would have used a gold polish to stamp with instead of white you'll see why.

I should have stamped with a gold polish because in some part the foil didn't transfer so I had some white showing. Has anyone one tried doing this before?

Office friendly polish

When it come to picking nail polish I usually go for the brightest or most glittery polish as working for the Boys and Girls club my nail polish colors aren't going to offend anyone if anything it keep my kids attention as I point to their homework lol.. But I sometimes have important meetings that I need to have office friendly polish and I struggle to pick them because I don't have many. I had an important meeting a couple of days ago and I chose Sinful colors Social Ladder. Its a shimmery light kinda nude pink. I liked the color a lot but Its not me so after the meeting I took it right off.

Swatch Time!

This past week I did my nail wheels over again because my old ones were not very organized and when I wanted to do a comparisons it was hard because they weren't on the same nail wheel like they should be.
I wanted to compare OPI Unripened and Sinful colors What's your name/Love bite (this 2 name thing is very annoying!). I had seen a swatch of Sinful colors What's your name/Love bite at Dollface's blog  which was my 1st follower yay Thanks Dollface your a doll lol!! OK back to business the swatch looked really similar to OPI Unripened which I loved but hated that it only came in a mini bottle so I thought I could just go buy the sinful colors version instead of buying the full size promotional bottle for 7x the price. So here's the swatch (by the way taking pictures that show that real color of the polish is extremely hard)

As you can see Unripened has alot more teal shimmer then Sinful colors does but it still a dupe. I am not going to buy the promotional bottle instead I might buy some teal glitter and mix it in to the sinful color polish if that doesn't work out Thanks to Dollface's swatches I might even buy China Glaze Blk-Bila-Bong.
