Del Sol Ruby Slippers

I recently bought a couple Del Sol nail polishes because they gotta be the coolest thing ever. Theses put mood polishes to shame. Del Sol nail polishes change in the sun and usually have a drastic color change. The one I'm going to show you today is Ruby Slippers its a silver glitter polish indoors and once you step outside it turns a redish/pink. It is pretty sheers since its a sliver glitter polish I don't like to see my nail line so I did a little konad and stamped the tips with hearts.

Inside
3 coats, top coat and stamped with Konad white

Outside

I absolutely love these polishes Ill be getting more since spring is right around the corner. I got so many compliment and questions about this polish it might just be on my top favorite polishes now. My kids at work were amazed and first thought I change nail polish colors in less then 10 mins. of them seeing my nails. Have any of you tried these out before?

NOTD: Sally Hansen Mint Sorbet

Today I had a community service project to go to and my nails had some crazy glitter and I was gonna be mingling with alot of important people like Boston's Governor Deval Patrick and I wanted more of a demure mani. I picked out one of my new polishes a pastel by Sally Hansen it is part of the newer Xtreme wear. I love this color and it was great to apply! For most of my pastel it takes about 3 coats and usually are really streaky but this lovely was actually a one coater. I liked the color but I don't like boring manis so I added some konad and stamped a diamond plaid pattern on M60 with  Konads white special polish.

Now while at the event my service project was at Cradles to Crayons Giving Factory and we were in charge of sorting books and checking the quality of them. While busy on our tasks one girl came up to me and asked how i did my nails and I told her and later on she came showed me something she thought I would find interesting. Take a look

                                                     Pencil Lead Nail Polish
"With pencil lead nail polish, you'll be carrying ten pencils with you at all times. No more frustration while you paw through drawers and under couch cushions. You'll be fashionable and functional, right down to your fingers."

Is that not the coolest thing ever! I wish they had such a thing like pencil lead polish I would buy it and always have one nail painted because I can never find something to write with. This was found in the Book below.

That all for today I have a huge haul post coming up!

NOTD. Marquee Moon

Marquee is my 2nd Lippmann collection polish I picked this one up at Nordstrom and as you probably know these polishes are very pricey so I had to beg my boyfriend to allow me to get it. I let him pick the polish it was this one or Across the Universe. He picked Marquee Moon because he thought I didn't have a silver polish (which I do but whatever gets me another polish works for me) Ill be back for the other one next week.

Marque Moon has a metallic silver base with large silver sequins that is opaque in 2 coats. The sequins make this polish a little hard to work with but as long you don't go over the same spot right away you should be fine. I didn't know that at first so I was dragging the sequins off my nail. The unique things about this polish is that you will never gets the same amount of sequins on each nail and this was what Deborah Lippmann intended.

(sorry for the bad quality picture I couldn't find my camera)

After applying the polish I decided to make it a little more glittery so I wanted to try out China Glaze Wireless Holographic top coat.

Still wasn't satisfied so I added a little Konad design on my ring finger from
Image plate M79 with Konad white special polish

My 1st Post

This is my 1st blog and post so please bare with me because I've never done this before. So I've created this blog to share and keep what you would probably call a porfolio of the nail designs ive created. The designs I are mostly done by using The Konad stamping kit. If you never heard or saw The Konad stamping kit your about to be amazed and I promise you that you will never go to the nail salon and get those expensive air brush designs that everyone has and aren't at all worth it. Click the link below to see a demo on how its works as well as the website were you can get your very own Konad kit
